Tutorial

I first wrote up this guide when Elwen expressed an interest in learning how to CG pictures, and I figured that it'd be a nice thing to share with everyone. =) The tutorials here only contain a guide on basic computer coloring--the only thing I feel that I have enough authority to speak on.  Note that it does not cover anything on how to draw objects and depict them correctly; you can find plenty of other tutorials that will go over those subjects better than I ever could, or the best choice, if you can, would be to take some classes and observe from life.  So basically, this tutorial is more-or-less on the intermediate level, where it assumes you already have a little experience with art in whatever medium.

Obviously it's hard to cover everything you can do with the computer in one little guide, and I'm constantly exploring and developing my methods as well.  If there's some specific technique of mine that you're especially curious about, let me know!

The old tutorial on coloring with PhotoDeluxe can still be found on the left.  It's basically outdated now in face of the rewritten tutorial, but I'm leaving it up there just for posterity's sake.  Who knows, maybe someone'll find some enlightenment in it.
